Remich, wine country in south luxembourg. This is the River Moselle. This little doggie was very curious about the swan. As a random side note, Luxembourg is the dog-friendliest place I've ever been. Dogs are allowed into almost everywhere- inside shopping stores, out-door restaurants, etc.
Rue du Vin. On the bus from Remich to Grevenmacher, which is on the border of France.
Today was ridiculous day. We started out after a nice breakfast at the hotel with the plan to go wine tasting on the border of france. We had to change buses a few times. Apparently Luxembourg buses are not like regular buses because they don't always stop when they are supposed to and they change routes randomly. We watched as one of the buses we needed passed us, and we waited in the middle of no where at a spot for a bus that decided it was going to Germany instead. So we finally made it to Grevenmacher and walked to the winery and alas, it was CLOSED! No wine tasting or tours because there was a wedding. So we bought some wine in their gift shop, and tried to find a tourist information center. Unfortunately it was CLOSED. Finally found a bus and made it back to the hotel. Ready to leave Luxembourg! Everything closes way too early and the buses do not make sense!! But the bus rides in the south through Remich and Grevenmacher were worth the trip. The vineyards and green countryside along the river were so beautiful.
